A ship is redrawn from one sentence at a time until it is no longer a ship. Everything the museum does is written here, and every picture is written on Solana.

One step

Every 25 SOL of $THESEUS turnover is one step. Four things happen, in this order.

    The rules

    25 SOL

of turnover on the pump.fun curve (later the PumpSwap pool) makes one step. Read off the chain by the keeper, buys and sells alike.

    Every 10th

generation, the whole pot buys $THESEUS back and burns it. Memo: theseus burn <voyage> <generation> <SOL> <burned>

    3 under 5

scores in a row: No ship left. The pot burns whole, the voyage goes to the Archive, and a new one starts from the first ship, drawn again with another seed.

Nothing here runs on a clock: a quiet day makes no steps, a busy hour makes many. When a model gives no answer, it is asked once more; when it still gives none, or refuses, or a safety flag stops the picture, the step is skipped, the next 25 SOL start the next step, and the chain continues from the last picture on the wall. Skips are shown in the Gallery. A picture that should not hang is taken off the wall by hand; its record, hash and memo stay, and the plaque says so.

    The prompts, word for word

Each call sees only its own input. The vision model never sees an earlier sentence; the drawing model sees only the sentence. Text calls run with max_tokens 8000 and reasoning {effort: "low", exclude: true}.

    The palette

The drawing is cut to its centre square, averaged down to 64 x 64 cells (every source pixel counts once, no smoothing) and every cell is set to the nearest of these 32 colours (CIELAB distance, no dithering). The palette never changes, so every voyage is painted from the same box.

    Where the fees go

$THESEUS creator fees land on the launcher's wallet; the launcher forwards them to the keeper wallet by hand. The keeper counts everything above its own 0.05 SOL float for network fees as forwarded and splits it:

    Forwarded creator feesShare
The pot: buys $THESEUS back and burns it, every 10th generation and at the end of a voyage70%
The work: the model calls, picture storage, RPC and hosting30%

Holders take no part in the mechanic: there is nothing to claim and nothing to sign.

    Check a picture

    1. Open a generation in the Gallery and press Check the hash: your browser hashes the file itself. Or download the PNG.
    2. On your own machine: sha256sum theseus-v1-g87.png (macOS: shasum -a 256). Keep the first 16 characters.
    3. Find the memo on the keeper wallet's history: theseus <voyage> <generation> <first 16 of the sha256> <score>. The two must be the same.
